Position Overview

GovCIO is seeking a highly proficient SharePoint Developer to enhance the management of pension plan data processes for PBGC through the evaluation of Microsoft's SharePoint solution.

This remote role encompasses:

  • Analyzing previous assessments to grasp the technology stack and requirements for pension plan data management
  • Collaborating with Microsoft to evaluate available Document Management software and cloud services
  • Conducting comprehensive market research and working with specialists to gain insights into SharePoint development
  • Establishing the Proof of Concept (PoC) environment for pension plan data management and testing selected technologies
  • Assisting in the configuration of Use Cases to evaluate technology viability
  • Drafting detailed requirements documentation to support the modernization of pension plan data management
  • Engaging with project managers and stakeholders throughout the PoC phase
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline with over 8 years of experience in SharePoint
Required Skills and Experience
  • At least 8 years of experience as a SharePoint Developer with a focus on document management
  • Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics, MS SharePoint, and Azure DevOps
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience in market analysis and vendor collaboration
  • Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment
  • Public Trust acquisition and maintenance
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Certification in SharePoint development
  • Experience with pension plan data management or comparable projects
  • Familiarity with relevant technologies such as Kofax and artificial intelligence
  • Understanding of government document management regulations
  • Experience in Power Apps development
  • Knowledge of alternative process engines
