Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Engineer to join our team at Bechtel Corporation. As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating and providing field engineering support services for subcontracted and direct hire work activities, including site preparation, deep soil mixing, drainage works, excavation and backfill, roads construction, piling, and concrete.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret civil design drawings and specifications for execution of civil works
  • Issue field change documents and nonconformance reports
  • Inspect and test reports
  • Issue field material requisitions
  • Other activities identified by the Area/Lead Discipline Field Engineer
Requirements
  • Required bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience
  • Sound communication skills
  • Sound interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Suite of tools including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
  • Knowledge of cost management including estimating and forecast development
  • Extensive experience in civil construction on large projects
  • Working knowledge of structural construction operations, construction surveying, excavation and backfill operations, and concrete installation
