Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical Unit as a full-time night shift nurse. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to a diverse patient population, including those with GI, Oncology, UTI, Dehydration, Pneumonia, COPD, Wounds, and Post-Op care needs.
- Collaborate with Patient Care Associates to maintain a safe and efficient patient care environment.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and patient preferences.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
- Current RN licensure in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
