Overview:
As a Finance Representative (Collector), it is your duty to ensure that our clients pay timely for the services they receive. You'll be tasked with contacting delinquent accounts to request payment and preparing related reports on daily reconciliation activities.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts and follow-up for collections via telephone and email
- Generate monthly aging reports for assigned accounts to identify firms with invoices aged in excess of 45+ days and take action
- Resolve invoice discrepancies by collaborating with applicable colleagues to ensure prompt and accurate resolution/payment
- Prepare reports on a daily basis to ensure accurate account balances and proper application of cash
- Document all actions and steps taken on assigned accounts during call or within 15 minutes of call ending
- Achieve daily/weekly/monthly collection call quotas for assigned accounts
Requirements:
- 1+ years of related experience
- Assertive, proactive and efficient with excellent problem solving and follow up skills
- Customer service oriented with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to respond to requests promptly and accurately
- Excellent attention to detail, highly organized and able to multi-task
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
