Responsibilities:
  • Provide on-site clinical supervision to licensed practical nursing staff, certified and non-certified aides.
  • Oversee the healthcare of residents, assessing their needs through record review, medication review, and visual observation.
  • Audit resident medical and healthcare records to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Review and prepare reports on resident healthcare, including doctor appointments, lab results, and hospital records.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care.
  • Provide education and training to nursing and non-nursing staff on healthcare topics.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care.
Requirements:
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
  • Diploma from an accredited 4-year high school or equivalent.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license in the State of New Jersey.
  • One year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a facility serving the developmentally disabled and/or elderly.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with crisis management and behavioral intervention training.
  • Knowledge of modern office management principles and procedures.
  • Ability to operate computer software, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain confidentiality. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting and communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
