Koniag Data Solutions, LLC is seeking a highly skilled PKI Administrator to join our team. As a PKI Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and supporting Public Key Infrastructure environments within a Windows domain.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deploy PKI environments within a Windows domain
- Deploy internal certificate authorities
- Issue external certificates from external authorities
- Install certificates on systems
- Maintain certificate authority databases
- Support the use of smart cards for system authentication across the agency
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in designing, deploying, and supporting PKI environments
- Strong experience in administering Microsoft PKI solutions in an enterprise environment
- Proven project lead experience in successful enterprise solution deployments
- Ability to create technical documents and engineering diagrams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong team collaboration skills
- Expert-level understanding of Public Key Infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with smart card authentication systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Familiarity with working in a federal government IT environment
- Knowledge of single sign-on concepts like SAML and OAuth2
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
This role operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations, and withstand moderate amounts of stress.
