We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team at Kittanning Health & Rehab Center. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to our residents and supervising the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nurses and nursing assistants.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of nurses and nursing assistants, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to facility policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement nursing care plans, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Conduct regular rounds to assess resident needs and ensure timely interventions.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance resident care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including resident charts and nursing reports.
- Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment or possess a valid compact license.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related healthcare facility.
- Ability to work hours as scheduled, based on the requirements of the position/assignment.
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others in the workplace.
- Eligible for benefits the first of the month following 30 days.
