We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technician to join our team at Rapides Regional Medical Center. As an Ultrasound Technician, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proficiently operate ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality images
  • Position patients correctly to ensure accurate imaging
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure patient safety
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Participate in continuing education to stay up-to-date on the latest imaging techniques and technologies
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment
  • Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or Registered Vascular Technician certification required within 1 year of employment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
