Medical Office Nurse RN

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Office Nurse RN to join our team at MyMichigan Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Assessment and Care: Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide high-quality patient care in accordance with established standards and policies.
- Communication and Coordination: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including documentation of patient assessments, care plans, and outcomes.
- Medication Management: Process medication refills, reconcile medications, and educate patients on medication use and side effects.
- Office Administration: Perform general office duties, including keyboarding, filing, and telephone support, as needed.
- Education: Associate's degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a medical office or clinical setting.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to stressful situations, including those involving public contact, trauma, grief, and death. The successful candidate will be able to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in these situations.
