Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Healthcare Operations Manager to join our team at Premier Health. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and administration of assigned sites.

About the Role

The Healthcare Operations Manager will provide the necessary resources to meet the needs of patients and the organization. This includes ensuring staffing levels are appropriate, monitoring overtime, and completing and distributing staffing schedules in a timely manner.

You will work closely with Human Resources to validate licensure and certifications of clinical staff members, select and hire employees according to established guidelines, and monitor, coach, develop, and evaluate staff performance on an ongoing basis.

A successful candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to build positive relationships with providers, clinical, and support staff personnel, and drive decision-making to meet the needs of patients and sites.

You will also identify opportunities to build employee morale and individual motivation, collaborate with Human Resources to ensure personnel policy development and communication to staff, and ensure consistency in labor and employee relations.

In addition, you will be responsible for supply management, regulatory compliance, facilities maintenance, IT support, marketing, finance, patient satisfaction, and relationships with vendors and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations and administration of assigned sites
  • Provide resources to meet the needs of patients and the organization
  • Ensure staffing levels are appropriate and monitor overtime
  • Select and hire employees according to established guidelines
  • Monitor, coach, develop, and evaluate staff performance
  • Build positive relationships with providers, clinical, and support staff personnel
  • Drive decision-making to meet the needs of patients and sites
  • Identify opportunities to build employee morale and individual motivation
  • Collaborate with Human Resources to ensure personnel policy development and communication to staff
  • Ensure consistency in labor and employee relations
  • Manage supply inventory and usage
  • Work to reduce medical and office supply costs through efficiency and innovation
  • Ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of working environment
  • Responsible for all aspects of facility appearance and maintenance
  • Resolve facility-related issues and ensure all facilities are well-kept and safe
  • Work in conjunction with IT staff to ensure systems work properly
  • Ensure phones are functional with updated messages
  • Work with staff members to ensure EMR concerns are addressed and resolved timely
  • Work with marketing team to ensure all marketing and business development plans are implemented
  • Function as the local marketing/community outreach coordinator for their assigned sites/regions
  • Review online content for accuracy
  • Responsible for profit and loss performance of assigned sites
  • Participate in budget creation
  • Plan, evaluate, recommend, and implement new initiatives when appropriate
  • Proactively identify opportunities to expand revenue sources and ancillary services and work to reduce expenses whenever possible
  • Actively monitor performance and create action plans for improvement
  • Responsible for ensuring customer/patient service needs are met
  • Monitors patient satisfaction feedback and contributes to the process of resolving complaints and service concerns
  • Plans and initiates process improvement
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Current State Nursing License and Basic Life Support Certification
  • 4 years of experience leading in a healthcare environment
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
  • Skill in using EMR systems, Excel Spreadsheet software, and MS Word Processing software
Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
