Job Title: Event Technician

At Encore, we are seeking a highly skilled Event Technician to join our team. As an Event Technician, you will be responsible for the setup and operation of basic and small-scale audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure a flawless event execution through accurate and timely setup, operation, and breakdown of audiovisual equipment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by exceeding the expectations and needs of internal and external customers.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients through effective communication.
  • Monitor events and check in with customers throughout the day to ensure their needs are met.
  • Understand and foster the hotel/client relationship.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma required; Associates degree preferred.
  • Achieve Technical Level 3 Certification within 180 days.
  • 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
  • 1 year of audiovisual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required for team members who may operate company vehicles.
Work Environment:

Hotel/convention center environment with moderate exposure to outdoor temperatures and to dirt, sand, and/or dust.

Team members will use high-end audiovisual equipment and electrical components and will be exposed to heights via lifts and ladders.

Team members may be asked to work in multiple hotel locations.

Working times will include irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
