We are currently looking for a Certified Speech Language Therapist to join our rehabilitation team.

*Flexible work hours

The primary objective of this role is to deliver and oversee speech therapy services to patients, which may encompass pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.

Our aim is to assist them in achieving their highest potential within a medical framework of practice.

Key Responsibilities:
Upon referral, assess the influence of available resident information on the evaluation and treatment process.

Conduct and document a comprehensive assessment of the resident to identify and diagnose communication deficits and necessary equipment.

Design and implement a personalized treatment plan based on the initial assessment, including attainable functional goals.

Adhere to evaluation, treatment, and documentation standards, ensuring timely and accurate departmental records.

Guide aides in proper procedures and provide supervision in compliance with applicable state regulations.

Record a progress note in the resident's file after each treatment session.

Adjust the resident's treatment plan as required based on their performance.

Document the treatment course in a clear and concise discharge summary using a specified format.

Introduce residents to program services and treatment methods tailored to their needs. Inform residents of any potential risks associated with procedures.

Collaborate with nursing staff, residents, and families to enhance the resident's functional abilities.

Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.

Possess a current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) credential from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Commit to ongoing continuing education and professional growth.

Maintain valid state licensure in Speech Language Pathology.
