Senior Tax Manager Commercial Real Estate CA Lead

CohnReznick LLP, a leading professional services and business advisory firm, is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join its esteemed Commercial Real Estate team in Los Angeles or Woodland Hills.
About the OpportunityThis hybrid role offers a unique blend of remote and office work, allowing professionals to balance their personal and professional lives while contributing to the firm's growth and success.
The successful candidate will support the Real Estate Industry Group, specifically the Commercial Real Estate team, which is one of the country's largest real estate advisory firms. This position presents opportunities for cross-functional learning, professional development, and career advancement.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the team to meet departmental deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
- Prioritize financial statement preparation, compilations, reviews, and tax returns, including experience with 1065 and 1120-S returns.
- Assist with tax return processing and review, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Analyze financial data, including balance sheets and income statements, to inform business decisions.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and contribute to the team's overall success.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's in Accounting/Taxation preferred.
- CPA, JD, or EA certification preferred.
- A minimum of 6 years of progressive tax experience within the real estate industry.
- 2+ years of supervisory experience.
- Strong research skills and excellent communication, presentation, and client service abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and tax compliance/research software, including ProSystem, CCH Axcess, and CCH Engagement.
- Proven project management and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multitask.
CohnReznick LLP offers a comprehensive benefits package, including a competitive salary range of $145,000 to $245,000, depending on location and experience.
