Job Summary

Mt. Wachusett Community College is seeking a qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach in our Veterinary Technology program. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction and assessment of student performance in a variety of learning environments.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver instructional content in veterinary technology, including lectures, labs, and online platforms.
  • Assess student performance and provide feedback to students.
  • Submit final grades in a timely manner.
  • Be available to students by appointment when mutually convenient.
  • Participate in faculty meetings and other college-wide activities.
Requirements
  • Must be a current licensed veterinarian.
  • Must hold a DVM from an AVMA-accredited program.
  • Must have a minimum of three years in clinical practice.
  • Evidence of competence in the area of instruction.
  • Maintain expertise appropriate to teaching responsibilities.
Desired Qualifications
  • 3-5 years teaching experience in a community college.

Additional Information
  • Salary: Adjunct Instructor - $4,191.00-$5,064.00 (3 credit lecture), $5,588.00-$6,752.00 (4 credit lecture), $6,259.00-$7,562.00 (4 credit lab).
