About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team at Dorman Products. As a key member of our procurement department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal sourcing of goods and services to support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to drive cost savings, improve supplier performance, and enhance the overall quality of our products.
  • Supplier Management: Manage and maintain relationships with key suppliers, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and compliance with company standards.
  • Category Management: Analyze market trends, identify opportunities for cost reduction, and develop strategies to optimize category spend.
  • Procurement Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with company policies.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports and analysis to stakeholders on procurement performance, including spend analysis, supplier performance, and cost savings.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with ERP/MRP systems; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
