Lead Medical Oncologist Opportunity

Good Samaritan Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Medical Oncologist to join our esteemed team. As a key member of our cancer care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading our team of oncologists in delivering high-quality cancer treatment.

Key Highlights:

  • Accredited by the American College of Surgeons, Commission on Cancer since 1979
  • Outstanding quality of life with a 4-day or 4.5-day work week and limited home call
  • 90% outpatient and 10% inpatient care
  • Approximately 90% Oncology and 10% Hematology cases
  • Ramp up quickly in an established practice with 30+ new patients per month
  • State-of-the-art equipment, including a 1.5 Tesla MRI, Siemens Sequoia and Juniper for Ultrasound, and 128 slice CT scanner
  • Well-trained and experienced APPs, nurse navigators, and support staff
  • Oncology clinic conveniently located near radiation oncology, infusion center, radiology services, and the inpatient unit
  • Hospitalist team admits, with the Oncologist serving as consulting physician
  • ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine and Psychiatry Residency Program affiliated with Indiana University School of Medicine
