Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at NYU Langone Health. As a Per Diem X-Ray Technologist, you will be responsible for performing medically prescribed radiographic procedures with precision and care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring the efficient completion of radiographic procedures.
  • Collaborate with patients, physicians, and nursing staff to provide exceptional patient care and ensure a positive experience.
  • Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve radiographic quality and patient satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest radiologic technologies and techniques, applying this knowledge to enhance patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices and policies.
Requirements
  • Certificate from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
  • New York State license
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
