Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in a school-based setting. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with students to develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote independence and participation in daily activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement occupational therapy treatment plans for students with varying abilities and needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths and areas for improvement
  • Design and implement adaptive equipment and strategies to promote student independence and participation
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress and goals

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1+ years of occupational therapy experience in a school-based setting
  • Occupational Therapist (OT) certification
  • Connecticut state licensure
  • Previous school-based experience required

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position with a caseload of elementary students. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:45am to 3:45pm. The job type is full-time (40 hours/week) with on-site/in-person work. Travel is required to work with students district-wide.
