As a key member of the Optum Behavioral Care Team, you'll contribute to our mission to revolutionize behavioral healthcare delivery for individuals, clinicians, and the broader healthcare system. We are seeking an exceptional candidate who will provide patients with evidence-based treatments for various mental health conditions, including individual, family, and couple's counseling. Key responsibilities include:

  • Fostering strong provider-patient alliances and coordinating care with external providers
  • Screening and assessing patients for common mental health and substance abuse disorders
  • Delivering treatment using approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based methods
  • Systematically tracking treatment response and monitoring patients for changes in clinical symptoms and treatment side effects or complications
  • Maintaining accurate electronic medical records (Athena) and clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

This role requires a Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field, along with a clear, active, and unrestricted license in the state of Nebraska.
