About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer II to join our Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. team. As a key member of our AI/ML Solutions team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale cloud infrastructure for our AI/ML services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement Cloud Infrastructure: You will design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure for our AI/ML services, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: You will work closely with our AI/ML engineering teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and design solutions that meet those needs.
  • Develop and Maintain Cloud-Based Solutions: You will develop and maintain cloud-based solutions using AWS services, ensuring that they are scalable, secure, and meet the needs of our customers.
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: You will troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud infrastructure, AI/ML services, and other related technologies.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: You will stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in cloud computing, AI/ML, and related fields.
Requirements
  • 3+ Years of Experience in Cloud Computing: You must have at least 3 years of experience in cloud computing, with a strong focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong Knowledge of AWS Services: You must have a strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and other related services.
  • Experience with AI/ML Technologies: You must have experience with AI/ML technologies, including machine learning frameworks, deep learning libraries, and other related technologies.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: You must have excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and other stakeholders.
  • Current, Active US Government Security Clearance: You must have a current, active US government security clearance, with a TS/SCI clearance and polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Cloud Security: You must have experience with cloud security, including designing and implementing secure cloud infrastructure, and ensuring compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.
  • Experience with DevOps Practices: You must have experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous deployment, and continuous monitoring.
  • Experience with Agile Methodologies: You must have experience with agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
