Adjunct Faculty Position

Job Description:

Tennessee Board of Regents is seeking highly qualified candidates for the position of Adjunct Faculty at Northeast State Community College. This is a great opportunity to teach and mentor students in various disciplines, including Anatomy and Physiology, Anthropology, Automotive Electrical, Aviation, Biology, Chemistry, CNC Machining, Criminal Justice, Economics, Industrial Electronics, EMT, English, Geography, Hydraulics and Pneumatics, Music, Nursing, Paramedic, Philosophy, Physics, Spanish, Sociology, and Welding.

The successful candidate will have the ability to teach general education courses, as well as associate degree courses designed for transfer to a baccalaureate degree. A master's degree in the teaching discipline or a related field is required, with some exceptions. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators, and demonstrate a commitment to student success.

Estimated Salary Range: $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

Location: Blountville, Tennessee. Candidates must be willing to travel to and teach from any of the college's campuses: Blountville, Elizabethton, Gray, or Kingsport.
