Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN House Supervisor to join our clinical team at Conway Behavioral Health. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care on our behavioral health units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to ensure that all residents' physical, biopsychosocial, age, developmental, and cultural needs are met.
  • Enforce and interpret policies for the delivery of patient and resident care, ensuring compliance with professional, regulatory, and governmental standards.
  • Ensure proper staffing for each unit, maintaining an optimal staff-to-patient ratio and covering call-offs and vacation time.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure chart checks are completed, seclusion/restraint logs are up-to-date, and nursing assessments are accurate.
  • Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) in orienting and training staff, providing coaching and guidance as needed.
  • Coordinate all care rendered to patients, including physician orders and diagnostic information, and ensure consultations are ordered.
  • Document medical, behavioral health information, and nursing care, maintaining accurate records in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Administer medications and maintain records in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Prioritize tasks and delegate staff to ensure quality patient care, adjusting staffing as needed.
  • Lead on-shift admissions and discharges, informing physicians of changes in patient conditions and adjusting staffing accordingly.
  • Utilize the administrator-on-call for situations requiring additional attention.
  • Provide direct care as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing required.
  • Three or more years' experience in nursing practice required.
  • One or more years' experience in med/surg nursing preferred.
  • One or more years' experience in a behavioral health setting preferred.
  • One or more years' experience in a supervisory or charge position preferred.
  • Current RN license as required by state.
  • CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required.
  • First aid may be required based on state or facility.
