Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and SEC regulations in financial reporting.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of PCAOB standards and auditing practices.
  • Guide and mentor junior associates and interns in audit methodologies.
  • Conduct research and provide analysis on financial statement and audit-related matters.
  • Gain insights into the client's business operations.
  • Engage proactively with client representatives to collect information, address issues, and suggest improvements.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 16 months of relevant experience, including two audit busy seasons in public accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Education and Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • Master's degree in accounting is preferred.
  • Active CPA certification is preferred or in progress.
