Cath Lab RN Travel Assignment

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN for a travel assignment at St Josephs Hospital and Medical Center in Arizona. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab RN and hold an active ACLS, BLS, and AZ license or compact.

Job Details
  • A large hospital in Arizona is looking for a skilled Cath Lab RN to join their team for a travel assignment.
  • The right candidate will have experience in a Level I or II trauma center and be proficient in Cerner and Xper EMR systems.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab RN
  • Active ACLS certification
  • Active BLS certification
  • An AZ license or compact
Schedule Information
  • 3, 12 hour shifts from 6 am to 6:30 pm plus call
  • Call - varied 6 to 10 shifts per schedule (30 minute response time required)
  • Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule
Unit Specific Information
  • # beds in unit: 3 main, 1 is EP & 1 is Hybrid (vascular & cardiac cases)
  • Cases: 10-25 cases per day. Circulating, no Scrub
  • EMR used: Cerner and Xper
  • Charge Nurse present
  • Nurse Aides: Rad techs - Circulating and Scrub, BLS, Certified. Cover Endo and CVOR
Additional Details
  • LEVEL I TRAUMA EXPERIENCE preferred; will screen busy LEVEL II
  • 30 minute response time required
  • Unit: Cath Lab
  • Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Interventional, EP lab, peripherals, EP - cardiology and vascular, mitro clip, TAVR, IABP and Emtala placement
