Warehouse Operator with Forklift Experience

About the Role

In this first shift position, you will be responsible for loading and unloading material deliveries, staging material based on customer orders, and assisting with organizing and maintaining existing inventory.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, unpack, check, and stock materials, recording items taken from inventory and documenting when completed.
  • Pick orders and wrap or pack orders in shipping containers, computing freight rates and recording the weight and cost of each shipment.
  • Sort, organize, and mark items with identifying labels, ensuring quick and easy inventory location.
  • Review and fulfill customer orders quickly and accurately against pick tickets, printing, picking, packing, data entering, and manifesting to ensure accurate order and invoicing for customers.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • 2+ years of experience working within manufacturing or warehousing is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and SAP, are necessary.
  • Experience safely and diligently operating a forklift and stock picker is required.
  • A positive and respectful attitude, ability to work well with others, maintain a high sense of urgency, attention to detail, and safety consciousness are essential.

Compensation and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.20 – 26.49 hourly. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

Additional Information
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment.
  • Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position.
  • The ability to work mandatory overtime, including Saturdays and 10-hour shifts, is an essential function of this role.
