Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team at Providence Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center at Mercy Fitzgerald. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and supervision to our nursing staff, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct supervision and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Develop and implement effective nursing care plans, ensuring patient needs are met and exceeded.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to nursing staff.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
Requirements
  • Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in this state.
  • Minimum 5+ years nursing experience in a hospital, nursing home, or other healthcare setting, with a minimum 1-year experience as a nurse supervisor.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.
  • Strong knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care centers.
