Job Description

You will be responsible for developing and facilitating training programs for our aftermarket teams, with a focus on technician development. This will involve:

  • Building content and delivering training for our Tech Apprentice program.
  • Overseeing John Deere University requirements and opportunities.
  • Becoming certified to instruct John Deere curated courses.
  • Identifying training needs of parts and service departments.
  • Developing and delivering training content to meet identified business needs.
  • Assessing individual employees' skills, performance, and productivity.
  • Presenting information at technician recruitment events.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years' experience in technician training and development.
  • Demonstrated experience in coaching and developing others.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience developing training content preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel when needed.
  • Associate degree in a related field or higher.
