About Us: Another Broken Egg Café is a daytime-only breakfast and brunch cafe. We're hiring servers who can provide excellent service to our guests.

Salary: $12-$15 per hour based on experience, with opportunities for advancement and competitive pay.

Job Description:

We're looking for a server to join our team at Another Broken Egg Café. As a server, you'll be responsible for interacting with guests to ensure exemplary service in an efficient manner. This includes offering menu tours, taking orders, serving food and beverages, wine service, answering inquiries about the menu, and suggesting food and specialty beverage items.

You'll work closely with bartenders, assistants, and hosts/hostesses to ensure guests receive superb service. Our café is open from 7am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday, and 7am to 3pm on weekends.

Responsibilities:

  1. Set up the bar and complete all opening duties, including cleaning, stocking, and checking par levels.
  2. Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and dining room guests while adhering to all specifications, recipes, and procedures.
  3. Greet all bar guests immediately, make suggestions, and answer questions regarding food, beverages, and service.
  4. Practice salesmanship to enhance the dining experience.
  5. Maintain cleanliness of all work areas.
  6. Comply with all state and local liquor laws and policies regarding the service of alcoholic beverages.
  7. Assist fellow employees whenever possible.

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to operate a POS computer system and make changes correctly.
  • Able to learn, describe, and sell all applicable food and beverage menus.
  • Must be able to deliver plates, food, and clear tables, which may require lifting of up to 30 lbs.
  • Walk or stand most of 6-8 hour shift.
  • Must be able to read menu items and speak English.
