We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the clinical operations of our Family Practice department.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine clinical and administrative duties to support the operations of the office.
- Conduct EKG testing and phlebotomy for patients as directed.
- Assist with provision of testing/vaccines to appropriate individuals.
- Maintain patient care equipment and report malfunctions.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients, families, and staff.
- Serve as a receptionist for incoming patients and visitors.
- Offer assistance and provide direction to visitors, patients, and families in a concise and informative manner.
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant program.
- One year of healthcare experience preferred.
- Experience with use of computers, copiers, faxes, and other clerical duties.
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a stressful environment.
