Clutch Pack Assembly Technician

We are seeking a skilled Parts Washer/Clutch Pack Specialist to join our team at Horton, Inc. in the Britton location. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for washing parts to remove coolant, oil, or other materials that may interfere with painting or other production operations.
Key Responsibilities- Wash parts using a parts washer to de-grease metal parts.
- Position parts on a conveyor to ensure proper washing and minimize water carry-over.
- Unload parts from the conveyor, blow off excess water, and stack clean parts in material storage baskets.
- Inspect washed parts for cleanliness and re-wash those that do not meet standards.
- Test washing solution regularly and add chemicals as needed to maintain proper balances.
- Handle parts carefully to avoid damaging grooves, threads, or captive edges.
- Record quantities of parts in productivity software and deliver loaded baskets to the stock room area or other designated areas.
- Count all parts and enter quantities and part numbers in the business system.
- Use material handling equipment, including forklifts, to transport finished loads.
- Perform assembly functions, including assembling units and preparing parts for assembly.
- Exhibit basic computer skills and use software systems to enter inspection production approvals, productivity data, and other production-related tasks.
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is desired but not required.
- Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
