Nuclear Medicine Specialist

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist plays a crucial role in the diagnostic imaging process, utilizing advanced technology to conduct procedures that assist in patient care.
Certification Requirements- Mandatory National Certifications: ARRT N, BLS, NMTCB CNMT
- BLS Certification Required: Yes
- Role: Nuclear Medicine Technician
- Work Schedule: 5X8 Day Variable - Start times are flexible, typically between 7 AM and 9 AM, Monday through Friday.
- Guaranteed Work Hours: 40 per week
- Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years
- First-time applicants are welcome: Yes
- Average Patient Visits per Day: 30
- Work Environment: This position is primarily within the PET department, with potential transfer to a new state-of-the-art PET facility on campus.
- Essential Skills and Experience: Proficiency in adult care, hospital settings, Siemens equipment, PET scanning, handling radioactive materials, and IV management.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in drawing venous blood, charge experience, and familiarity with teaching hospitals and EPIC systems.
- Experience: 2 years minimum
- National Certifications: ARRT N, BLS, NMTCB CNMT

- Work Schedule: 5X8 Day Variable - Start times are flexible, typically between 7 AM and 9 AM, Monday through Friday.
- Guaranteed Work Hours: 40 per week

- On-call Requirement: No
- Flexibility: May be required to float between two offices as needed.
- Local Candidates: Not accepted beyond a 75-mile radius.
- Pending State License: Accepted
- Time Off Restrictions: No more than 7 days
