Job Summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Savannah, GA. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain functional capabilities and independence after experiencing a brain injury, spinal cord injury, or stroke/CVA.

Responsibilities
  • Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans to address patients' complex neurological needs.
  • Regularly reassess treatment plans and communicate with the treatment team, physician, and family members to ensure effective care.
  • Perform discharge evaluations and provide recommendations for home and community safety, as well as referral and education resources.
  • Communicate patients' needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, and family members.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure coordination of care and enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current, unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
  • Current Basic Life Support or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification in accordance with state regulations.
  • A minimum of one year's work experience as a physical therapist is preferred.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury.
  • Communicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interactions.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical demands of the job.
