About the Job

Epic Travel Staffing Allied is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for operating x-ray equipment and performing a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate x-ray equipment to produce high-quality mammography images
  • Perform diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of patient procedures and results
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in mammography technology and techniques
Requirements
  • Graduation from a formal radiologic technology training program and current certification by ARRT in Radiography
  • ARRT advanced level certification in mammography with documentation of clinical experience, or MQSA qualified and (M) registry eligible
  • 1 year of experience in mammography, with 2 years preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
