We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Member Services Representative at the Fairborn YMCA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members and guests, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience at our facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service to members and guests, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process membership sales, changes, and cancellations, as well as other member transactions, in an efficient and accurate manner.
  • Conduct tours of the facility for prospective members and guests, highlighting our amenities and services.
  • Handle monetary transactions and reconcile any discrepancies.
  • Build relationships with members, understanding their needs and preferences to provide personalized service.
  • Proactively solve problems and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
  • Perform routine administrative tasks, such as copying and filing.
  • Stay up-to-date with member information and policies, as outlined in the member handbook.
  • Follow safety guidelines and report any incidents or concerns to supervisors.
Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A 2-year degree or relevant experience is preferred.
  • One year or more of customer service experience is required.
