Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team at JLM Strategic Talent Partners. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing and verifying test results, creating test reports, and working with experienced completion commissioning and start-up personnel.

Key Responsibilities

* Review completion of commissioning test results submitted by subcontractors, vendors, and internal commissioning and quality teams against test procedures
* Verify test results are ready to be compiled into a test report for a specific area of the project along with the identified open items
* Create a process to get test reports for submission to the client and/or for subsystem handover to different testing parties
* Review subcontractors, vendors, and internal test procedures before submission to the client
* Review engineering drawings, turnover, pre-commissioning, and commissioning procedures to confirm appropriate provisions have been established for testing and other functions related to facility completion
* Work with experienced completion commissioning and start-up personnel engaged in pre-commissioning, commissioning, testing, and operations activities
* Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines
* Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
* 2+ years of experience in commissioning and testing
* Strong knowledge of commissioning procedures and protocols
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work in a team environment and prioritize multiple tasks
