Supply Chain Coordinator

At The Vertex Company, we are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain management team, you will be responsible for coordinating supply chain management and administration tasks at each FOCUS center and sites with greater than 10 parts requiring inventory control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate supply chain management and administration tasks at each FOCUS center and sites with greater than 10 parts requiring inventory control.
  • Oversee and manage every stage of the production flow, from purchasing raw materials to the delivery of the final product.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiate contracts and maintain communication for timely delivery of goods and materials.
  • Keep track of inventory levels to ensure that the business can meet demand without overstocking, including coordinating with warehouses and using inventory management systems.
  • Arrange the logistics of how goods are transported from suppliers to warehouses, and from warehouses to sites.
  • Coordinate with quality assurance teams and addressing any issues with suppliers or during the production process.
  • Identify and resolve any issues that arise in the supply chain process, such as delays in delivery, problems with suppliers, or production bottlenecks.

Requirements:

  • Experience in coordinating supply chain management and administration tasks at each FOCUS center and sites with greater than 10 parts requiring inventory control.
  • Experience in overseeing and managing every stage of the production flow, from purchasing raw materials to the delivery of the final product.
  • Experience in building and maintaining good relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Experience in negotiating contracts and maintaining communication for timely delivery of goods and materials.
  • Experience in keeping track of inventory levels to ensure that the business can meet demand without overstocking, including coordinating with warehouses and using inventory management systems.
  • Experience in arranging the logistics of how goods are transported from suppliers to warehouses, and from warehouses to sites.
  • Experience in coordinating with quality assurance teams and addressing any issues with suppliers or during the production process.
  • Experience in identifying and resolving any issues that arise in the supply chain process, such as delays in delivery, problems with suppliers, or production bottlenecks.
