Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team in an outpatient medical center setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental hygiene and be able to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform dental hygiene services for patients in the community health dental clinics, including assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
  • Prescribe therapeutic agents within the scope of practice and collaborate with attending dentists as needed.
  • Administer injectable local anesthetic, apply silver diamine fluoride, and place interim therapeutic restorations as certified and permitted.
  • Complete medical and dental histories, take radiographs, and ensure patients' periodontal and dental exams are up-to-date.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of direct clinical practice or recent graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene program.
  • Dental Hygienist licensure in Colorado and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, critical thinking skills, and ability to provide equitable care.
