- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Systematically assess patient health and respond to care rendered, using critical thinking skills to problem-solve and make clinical decisions.
- Evaluate patient progress and modify care plans as needed, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement direct care plans for assigned patients, providing a safe and supportive environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, ensuring seamless care coordination.
- New York State License for Registered Professional Nurse and current registration or valid permit to practice in New York State as an RN required.
- Certification preferred in specialty or efforts to achieve certification.
- BSN degree required and 5 years clinical experience, two of which must be in the specialty or related service; or combination of education and experience acceptable to Clinical Director of Nursing or designee.
