Role SummaryThe Radiologic Technologist II plays a crucial role in conducting a diverse range of radiographic procedures utilizing both stationary and portable imaging equipment, including c-arms in surgical settings.
Key ResponsibilitiesIncentives:

- Returning employees must have been away from Kettering Health for at least 6 months prior to reemployment
Primary Duties:
- Perform various radiographic examinations while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Work under minimal supervision, demonstrating independent judgment and initiative.
- Engage effectively with patients, healthcare team members, and physicians in a collaborative environment.
- Provide care to a diverse patient demographic, including neonates, children, adults, and seniors, while managing exposure to ionizing radiation.
- Be prepared for irregular work hours, including potential overtime and on-call duties.
- Handle physically demanding tasks that may require prolonged standing, bending, and lifting.
- Assist in other areas during periods of low patient volume as needed.
Essential Qualifications:
- Registered Radiologic Technologist certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Valid Radiographer license in Ohio.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Proficient in operating a variety of radiographic equipment, including mobile and portable units.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to new technologies.
- Ability to interact professionally and tactfully with patients, physicians, and colleagues.
- Capability to endure physical demands such as standing, bending, and lifting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform tasks efficiently and accurately.
