Job Overview

Greenberry Industrial is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Pipe Fitter and Journeyman Pipe Welder to support various projects in the Southern Oregon mid valley region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designs, fabricates, assembles, and installs carbon and stainless steel piping systems, including high-pressure lines, in accordance with technical drawings.
  • Utilizes cutting torches, plasma arc tools, or cutting machines to cut and bevel pipes, demonstrating proficiency in creating rolling offsets and accurately measuring pipe lengths.
  • Measures, fabricates, and assembles butt welds, socket welds, "V" groove pipes, valves, hangers, and threaded piping systems.
  • Operates rigid power threading machinery effectively.
  • Employs rigging techniques to position piping accurately.

Qualifications:

  • At least 4 to 6 years of experience at the journey level.
  • Skilled in using cutting torches, plasma arc equipment, cutting machines, and rigid power threading tools.
  • Capable of interpreting isometric drawings of piping systems and creating ISO drawings for field-run piping.
  • Must be able to pass a Tig Stick 6 G pipe welding test if applying for the welder position.
  • Experience with Flux core welding is required.
  • Prior rigging experience is advantageous.
  • NCCER certification is preferred.

Compensation: $32 to $36 per hour based on experience, along with local or traveling subsistence pay.
