Lifeguard II Position

Join the Kroc Center Hawaii team as a Lifeguard II, responsible for ensuring the health and safety of guests in attendance at our aquatics facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide life-guarding services, including rescues and emergency response
- Monitor pool activities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe environment
- Enforce pool rules and regulations, and provide excellent customer service
- Participate in training and professional development to maintain and improve skills
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the pool, including maintenance and cleaning
Requirements:
- High School graduate or equivalent
- American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certification
- First Aid and CPR for the Professional Rescuer
- At least 2 years lifeguard experience or 700 hours of lifeguard experience at Kroc Center Hawaii
Preferred Qualifications:
- Swim Lesson Instruction experience
- Previous lifeguard supervisory experience
- Previous customer service experience
Work Environment:
The Lifeguard II will work in a fast-paced environment, frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions, and may be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Equipment Needs:
The Lifeguard II will be required to use rescue equipment, including rescue hooks, tubes, and buoys, as well as pool maintenance equipment.
Certifications and Clearances:
The Lifeguard II will be required to hold current certifications in American Red Cross Lifeguard Training and First Aid and CPR for the Professional Rescuer, and will be subject to a criminal history information check.
