Job Summary

R&D Maintenance Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Laborer to join our team. As a key member of our operations and maintenance crew, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to grounds maintenance, facility cleaning, and litter removal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Hand and Powered Equipment: Safely operate hand and powered lawn and grounds equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
  • Clean Facilities and Grounds: Clean facilities, restrooms, and showers, and remove trash and refuse from the grounds.
  • Perform Landscaping and Maintenance Tasks: Plant and maintain grass, flowers, trees, and shrubs, and perform other landscaping and maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Assist with Trades and Crafts: Assist skilled craftspersons with maintenance, repair, and improvement of equipment, facilities, roads, fences, utility systems, and other infrastructure.
  • Load and Transport Materials: Load, transport, and unload materials, tools, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Perform Minor Maintenance and Cleaning: Perform minor maintenance and cleaning activities for tools and equipment, and maintain a clean work area.
  • Work in a Variety of Environments: Work in a variety of environments, including indoors and outdoors, and may be required to operate a motor vehicle.
Requirements
  • 1-3 Years of Experience: 1-3 years of verifiable work experience in grounds and/or facility maintenance.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Background Check and Screening: Required to successfully complete a background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug/alcohol screenings.
