JOB SUMMARY:

The primary responsibility of the Mechanical Assembly Specialist is to prepare the foundational tank for our generators. This critical role ensures that all preparatory tasks are completed before advancing to subsequent stages in the assembly process. During peak production periods, there will be opportunities to engage in various roles within the Integration team, including Engine Preparation, Rigging/Crane operations, and Finishing tasks. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Install isolators.
  • Secure generator rails through bolting.
  • Set up battery racks.
  • Prepare the power control box.
  • Assemble and install exhaust components.
  • Ensure the tank is fully prepared for generator placement.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with team members to adjust installation or preparation plans as necessary.
  • Install generator and fuel-related components, including CCVs, air tubes, heat shields, shunt lines, coolant piping, fuel polishers, dosing systems, urea supply systems, urea tanks, and insulation.
  • Manage drain lines for oil, water, and air compressors.
  • Assist with rigging for equipment movement.
  • Support the installation of isolators and engine rails.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail coupled with a robust work ethic.
  • Effective time management skills with adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Compliance with PPE requirements, including protective eyewear and hearing protection.
  • Knowledge of job site safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Reliable attendance and a respectful, responsible attitude at work.
  • Flexibility and patience to assist in various areas as needed.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong communication skills and situational awareness.
  • Proficient in forklift operation.
  • Good mathematical skills and ability to read a tape measure.
  • Capability to perform tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull weights up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to work in diverse weather conditions.
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
