Role

This position involves facilitating virtual case consultation meetings with behavioral health care managers and primary care partners. You will provide evidence-based treatment recommendations for patients enrolled in our program.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in weekly virtual caseload consultations to provide guidance on patient care.
  • Synthesize patient information to create personalized treatment plans within 24 hours.
  • Advise on treatment adjustments as needed, ensuring seamless transitions between medical and specialized care.
  • Document treatment recommendations in electronic health records and communicate with ordering providers.
  • Maintain open communication with the care team regarding urgent matters.

Requirements

  • Board-certified, licensed psychiatrist (MD/DO)
  • Current licensure in NC, VA, WA, IA, KY, TN; willingness to pursue additional licenses as needed
  • Excellent communication skills and a solution-focused attitude
  • Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic interventions
  • Subspecialty experience in child/adolescent psychiatry, perinatal/women's health psychiatry, or addiction psychiatry is highly desirable
