Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on public policy aspects of telecommunications, competition, cybersecurity, federal acquisition, and the future of work
  • Navigate the record in the appropriate policy forums
  • Develop and effectively present policy research reports to a larger team and relevant stakeholders
  • Assist the team in reviewing and understanding the needs of commercial, federal, and academic stakeholders in the technology industry space
  • Experience in creating FOIA requests, reviewing relevant legislation and key court cases relevant to the research project

Requirements

  • Master's Degree
  • Currently pursuing an advanced degree in a relevant field
  • Experience in creating FOIA requests
  • Demonstrated experience in statistical analysis, content analysis, and legal analysis as research tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD in Public Policy or Communications & Technology
