We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at WebstaurantStore. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all assets used in the operation of the warehouse.
- Focus on Material Handling Equipment (MHE) or Operational & Building Maintenance (OBM) as assigned.
- Work in a safe and professional manner at all times, prioritizing the safety of yourself and others.
- Ability to perform Lock Out/Tag Out on all assets.
- Perform PM's and repairs on various equipment, including Crown TSP, SP, SC, RM, RC, PR & M, Wire Guidance System, Ottawa Yard Truck & Sweeper/Scrubber, Batteries/Chargers, Conveyor System & Packaging Equipment, HVAC & Lighting systems, Cubiscans/Scales, Fire & Security Systems, Racking Repairs, Dock assets, and General building.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience in the Electrical, Mechanical, or HVAC fields preferred.
- Electrical troubleshooting skills are beneficial.
- Experience with automated conveyor systems is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work at elevations of up to 50'.
- Customer service-oriented attitude with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations.
This is a 35.5 hour, 3-day schedule:
- Friday: 6:00 AM-6:00 PM
- Saturday: 6:30 AM-7:00 PM
- Sunday: 6:00 AM-6:30 PM
Please note that this is a physically demanding role that requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching. You must be able to lift/carry 50-75lbs and push/pull up to 150lbs.
