Job Title: School Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team at Soliant. As a key member of our educational team, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and emotional well-being of our students.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive psychological assessments, interpreting results, and providing insights to inform instructional planning and intervention strategies. You will collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other educational professionals to develop and implement effective interventions and behavior management strategies.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive abilities, academic skills, social-emotional functioning, and developmental levels.
  • Interpret assessment results and provide actionable insights to inform instructional planning and intervention strategies.
  • Collaborate with teachers and administrators to develop and implement effective interventions and behavior management strategies.
  • Provide counseling and support services to students individually or in group settings, addressing a wide range of social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
  • Consult with parents and guardians to foster effective partnerships and support students' overall well-being and academic success.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including 504 meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and contribute expertise in addressing students' needs and goal-setting.
  • Stay current with research, best practices, and legal requirements related to school psychology and special education.
Qualifications:
  • Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Valid license or certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Proficient in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting assessment results.
  • Sound knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Strong understanding of various behavioral intervention strategies and positive behavior support systems.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
