Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing advanced technical support for electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical malfunctions in aircraft-related production equipment.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance inspections and repairs to ensure equipment is operating within specifications.
  • Set up and calibrate equipment on scheduled intervals to ensure optimal performance.
  • Regularly back up process parameters and PLC programs for all equipment.
  • Input required data into the CMMS system for machine reliability and control.
  • Implement project objectives on key pieces of automated equipment with minimal guidance.
  • Recommend or initiate modification or replacement of equipment components that fail to meet acceptable operating standards.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 2-year technical degree may offset one year of experience.
  • 5 years of experience working with electrical controls and mechanical applications in a manufacturing environment, including experience with aircraft-related production equipment.
  • Knowledge of PLC and drives, as well as experience with CNC equipment and GSE equipment.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
  • Working knowledge of replacing spindles, ball screws, linear guide ways, bearings, hydraulics repairs, and precision machine alignments.
