The Service Porter is responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient traffic flow through the service facility, increasing customer convenience, and maintaining an orderly service parking area.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers entering the service area with a friendly and professional attitude, answer their questions, and direct them to the appropriate person or location.
  • Determine if customers have an appointment, record their name, VIN, tag number, mileage, and existing vehicle damage.
  • Control service traffic flow, parking, and assist with loaner vehicles as needed.
  • Drive safely and report any lot damage immediately.
  • Retrieve customer vehicles at the cashier for pick-up, wait at the vehicle for the customer, and thank them for their business.
  • Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, and I.D. tags in all vehicles taken in for service.
  • Deliver keys and repair order hard copies to the Service Advisor immediately after parking a vehicle in the service parking lot.
  • Maintain a clean and safe service drive area, free of trash, water, leaves, and dirt.
  • Drive vehicles to and from the service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
  • Make key tags for vehicles.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any accidents to a manager or supervisor.
Qualifications:
  • All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • All applicants must be able to demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver's license.
