Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Directly supervise and guide front-line production leaders and associates, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to ensure team success.
  • Manufacturing Operations: Plan, organize, and direct daily operations activities, ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting production schedules.
  • Quality and Safety: Foster a culture of safety and quality, identifying and resolving potential hazards and implementing corrective actions to prevent incidents.
  • Employee Development: Develop and implement training programs, performance evaluations, and merit increases to promote employee growth and retention.
  • Production Planning: Coordinate production schedules, manage vacation/time off, overtime, and weekend work to maintain production levels and ensure equipment coverage.
  • Maintenance and Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the maintenance department to ensure equipment is properly maintained, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production role, with 3+ years of direct employee supervision or lead responsibilities.
  • Skills: Knowledge of manufacturing processes, Lean Manufacturing, 5's, and collaboration in Kaizen events; bilingual English and Spanish desirable.
  • Education: Associate or Bachelor's Degree in engineering or operations management preferred, Six Sigma Green Belt a plus.
